Lucid dream is a dream which you can control. You can do whatever and get whoever you want in it. If you are aware that you’re dreaming, just know that you can actually control it. The things in that dream would be so vivid and real to you.
You can feel anything you touch in that dream as if you’re
in a real life except that the life you have in it is up to you. You can even
get the vision of your family member you’ve lost or your idol, talk to them, or
do everything you want with them although they’re not real if you’ve become an
advanced lucid dreamer.
Newbies are usually not able to do it because they usually
only stay in this kind of dream for a couple of seconds or minutes.
It is also usually a long term dreaming memory you’ll have. You’ll
remember every detail thing you see, hear, or touch in that dream for a very
long time even for the rest of your life. It would be an amazing unforgettable
dreaming memory ever unlike the other usual dreams.
The positive or negative things can appear in this kind of
dream depending on what you think of when you’re experiencing it.
The thing is, people aren’t usually aware when they are
dreaming but when they are, they usually end up being scared and negative things
suddenly appear in it then it becomes their worst nightmare ever.
Lucid dream can be induced by doing it on purpose so that we
can be aware of it. There are so many ways to do it. It can be done by using a
weird instrumental music that you can find by yourself on youtube, or by
following some steps.
The steps need a lot of times and practices for most newbies
because it includes having a sleep paralysis which is scary to most people. They
actually don’t need to be scared of it because there are some medical explanations
about it although some people think it happens because of the supernatural
beings.
The sleep paralysis itself can be triggered when we are
tired and just follow the next step to get into the lucid dream. However, when
we are not tired, we can also induce the sleep paralysis in order to get into
the lucid dream.
The steps that you need to do to get the lucid dream without
any music is:
1. You need to lie down on your bed and close your eyes but
try not to fall asleep
2. Stay still until you get into the sleep paralysis phrase
3. Keep being calm in the sleep paralysis phase even when
you hear or see scary things around you
4. Enjoy your lucid dream
When I first heard about this, I actually didn’t believe it
because it sounded like something that would never be possible to happen
especially when I was so afraid of sleep paralysis until I got the sleep
paralysis myself and tried to follow the next step because I used to have a
sleep paralysis all the time and I did it.
I could get into the lucid dream and flew away from a hotel
room I was in, but it wasn’t my first time experiencing it because when I first
experienced it I had no idea what it was and thought I was dead but then I woke
up and didn’t want to go back to sleep because I hadn’t read an article about
it at the time.
Then, after being successful on trying it, I decided to do
it on purpose and actually experienced it for a couple of times although I didn’t
always succeed when I was trying to get in it. Time passed and I was kind of afraid
of doing it again because I was afraid of the sleep paralysis phase, being used
to it and not wanting to face the reality again so I stopped trying and just
try to do it when I accidentally have a sleep paralysis although I still don’t
always succeed to pass the sleep paralysis phase and end up waking up.
